Person Heroically Climbs Into Sewers To Rescue Trapped Kitten, Their Cat Immediately Adopts It (Viral Thread)

It's not every day that we get to read about heroes - human heroes, non-fictional, real heroes. But sometimes, if we pay attention, we might see these people. To us, people who go above and beyond for an animal in need are some of the most amazing heroes. They rarely get glory, they rarely get fame, but they are the biggest heroes, because they do what they do selflessly and expecting nothing in return - not even a thank you from the creature they rescued. 

We celebrate these stories whenever we can. Every time we read about firefighters rescuing cats from burning buildings, we tell you guys about them. When we hear stories like the one of the man who rescues a cat from earthquake debris in Turkey or like the one of the person who rescued a cat from the ledge of an apartment building, we tell you about it. Same goes for the story we have for you today. Because even though these heroes won't get enough love from the rest of the world, we will make sure to give them as much of it as we possibly can.

    "Found this little girl Saturday afternoon in the sewer. Completely covered in muck. Cleaned her up and gave her some KMR the first night. She was very timid and afraid. Lightened up Sunday and ate some soft kitten food. Slowly let our cats get acclimated . By Sunday night our big boy Siamese had adopted her. It is the cutest thing ever."

We kept them separated for the first night and just bottle fed her because we didn't know how long she was down there or when she ate last.
